Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley at Wizarding World of Harry Potter

By admin

You can find Borgin and Burkes at 13B in Knockturn Alley at the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley. It sells objects of Dark magic and other dangerous magical artifacts, including many souvenirs exclusive to this one-of-a-kind shop in Knockturn Alley. You may also see wanted posters for Bellatrix Lestrange, the Hand of Glory, part of the Floo Network where Harry accidentally entered the wizarding world, and the Malfoy vanishing cabinet.

Borgin and Burkes

You don’t have to be a Death Eater to gain entry to this infamous shop. As you wedge your way through the fascinating, eclectic collection of Dark Arts objects, you may find Death Eater masks, skulls, and costume replicas. The shop also sells apparel, accessories, jewelry, collectibles, and gifts.

Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley

To get to Borgin and Burkes, follow the signs to Knockturn Alley, searching for the entrance in the picture, above. It’s easy to find, as it’s the largest shop in Knockturn Alley.

I found some really cool Deathly Hallows merchandise in this store, so if you’re a fan, this is the place to get that merchandise.

The Tale of the Three Brothers in Diagon Alley

By admin

The Tale of the Three Brothers is a fairy tale told to wizard children. Supposedly written by Beedle the Bard, it is published as part of a series of works that collectively are called The Tales of Beedle the Bard. While most wizards view this story as one that teaches children morals (e.g., humility, wisdom), some believe that the story refers to the Deathly Hallows, three highly powerful magical artefacts coveted by generations of wizards.

The Tale of Three Brothers

Many also believe that the three Peverell brothers were the inspiration for the story, and that they first obtained the artefacts known as the Hallows. ‘The Tale of the Three Brothers’ also has a different variation, referring to twilight as midnight to make it more suspenseful for the entertainment of children, but in Dumbledore’s original copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard it refers to the journey taking place at twilight.

In the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Diagon Alley, you can find the Tale of the Three Brothers show in the Carkitt Market at periodic times throughout the day. The video, below, only shows you part of the show. To see the whole performance, you’ll have to visit Diagon Alley.

A Solo Trip to Disney World

By admin

If you have ever been to Walt Disney World with a group of people, you might have pondered how much fun it would be to visit again all alone! Imagine a week of pure Disney bliss, all by yourself! Does this sound inviting to you?solo trip to disney world

Just imagine the possibilities with a solo trip to Disney World.

If you’re driving, you can stop for breaks whenever you want. Listen to your favorite Disney music and sing along! When flying, you’ll have a better chance of getting a seat. You can choose the resort that suits you best and sleep in until noon if you want. No reason to pick the kid-friendly one.

When touring the parks, you can take advantage of single rider lines. FassPass+ selections will be more plentiful. Pick attractions that interest you, and ride again if you want! Plus, you can decide if you’re willing to wait the posted wait time. There would be no cause to rush to the next attraction. Take time to smell the roses or stop for some attractions that you would otherwise overlook. Spend time enjoying the little details that make the Disney Parks so special.solo trip to disney world

Shopping would be such fun!  A stroll through Downtown Disney would be delightful! No need to be looking at things that don’t interest you. No cause to be worried about the length of time you spend browsing. Plus, only you can decide if the purchase is right for you and your budget.

Enjoy a spa experience or explore Disney’s Deluxe Resorts. Lounge in the lobby or take a behind-the-scenes tour. Spend the whole afternoon by a quiet pool or a water park. The options are endless!

solo trip to disney worldChoose when and where to dine and what you want to eat. It’s easier to get a reservation for one as opposed to a party of six. You wouldn’t offend anyone if you read a magazine or browsed the web on your phone while dining. A quick service meal could be your choice. Who cares if you only have a Butterfinger Cupcake for lunch or Dole Whip for dinner?

Can you see a solo trip to Disney World in your future?
